Belt conveyor driven pulley slip protection and monitoring device

While slipping, the frictional traction of the drive pulley of the conveyor is reduced, overloaded, or the conveyor belt is stuck. The decrease in frictional traction is due to muddy water on the conveyor belt or the driving pulley, and the tension of the conveyor belt has decreased.

2,What are the pulley slip and monitoring protections?

1),The tube-type slip protection device generally installs the magnet of the sensor on the side of the guide pulley, and is mainly fixed by bolts. The sensor is installed near the guide roller. If the conveyor belt breaks or slips during operation, the speed of the guide roller will change. When the speed of the guide pulley through the sensor response reaches the set value, the protection device sends a signal to let the conveyor stops.

2), It mainly consists of a pulley sensor and a control box. During normal operation of the conveyor, the roller can maintain a certain speed under the drive of the conveyor belt, and the roller protection device will not start. When the belt breaks and slips, the speed of the conveyor belt is slowed down or stopped. When the roller speed reaches the set value, the protection device sends a signal to stop the conveyor.
